A protester entered center court during the men’s singles semi-final and clung to the net until security evacuated her.
The protester claims to be from an organization for the defense of the climate.

The French Open semi-final between Marin Cilic and Casper Ruud was briefly interrupted on Friday evening by a woman, wearing a t-shirt with the inscription in English “We have 1028 days left”, who attached herself to the net .
The two players were sent back to the locker room, the time to evacuate the intruder who claims to be from an organization for the defense of the climate.
The match was able to resume after a quarter of an hour of interruption including a few minutes for a very brief new warm-up.
