Tautavel: Prehistoric archers

It’s a somewhat special archery championship. In Tautavel in the Pyrénées-Orientales, the 32nd edition of the prehistoric archery championship is taking place this Saturday, June 4th. The participants bring back the prehistoric bows and arrows that they made themselves. 35 participants compete during this event. The route is located all around the museum. Archers must hit 10 targets. The competition takes place in joy and good humor. No prize for the winner. Competitors are there to have fun first and foremost.
