The Rivière-du-Loup baseball player, Sarah Beaulieu, had the opportunity to demonstrate the extent of her talent by participating in a tournament in the United States last weekend.
Sarah Beaulieu lined up with the East Coast Yankees at the Diamond Classic, a women’s baseball competition held in the state of Virginia. She also greatly contributed to the success of her team – which won the bronze medal – by shining at bat and on the mound.
In five games, the athlete maintained an exceptional batting average of .824 with 14 hits in 17 chances. She also conceded no points to her opponents in seven sets of work on the mound. Her performances earned her the title of “Most Valuable Player to Her Team” by her teammates.
The teams present at the Diamond Classic, coming from all over the United States, were made up of talented players, some of whom are members of the American team.
