Relocation of Kokolo and Lufungula camps: Anat presents its budgeted activity plan for pre-feasibility studies

In anticipation of the effective launch of the legal, social and technical studies, Anat’s mission manager, Carine Oniemba, held a meeting last weekend with the various parties involved in the project to present the activity plan to them. budgeted. The objective was to publicize and submit for validation by the stakeholders all of the proposed activities, the expected results, the execution deadlines as well as the actors to be involved in the implementation of each of the activities.

After reviewing this activity plan, several contributions were made, particularly with regard to the communication around the project. Representatives of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Congolese National Police drew attention to the sensitive and strategic nature of the project. As a result, they made several recommendations, including the need to establish close collaboration with the various army and police services.

In their interventions, the army and the police underlined the importance of the study missions, insofar as they will bring elements necessary for the effective realization of the project.

For her part, the mission manager of Anat assured the experts that the basic plans of the Kokolo and Lufungula sites will take into account the indications of the strategic orientation plan of the Kinshasa agglomeration.

Similarly, for each study, a working group will be made up of the direct beneficiaries, namely the police and the army, and experts from Anat to support the service provider(s) selected in the field. At the end of the meeting, it was decided that the validation workshop for the terms of reference of the various studies will be organized in ten days.
