Nice would demand at least 8 million euros from PSG for Galtier

PSG have been negotiating for several days with OGC Nice to make Christophe Galtier their new coach.

A year after depriving PSG of a title of champion of France with Lille, will Christophe Galtier join the capital? The adventure seems to turn sour at OGC Nice, and the Riviera club has opened up to discussions with Paris, which wants to make Galtier (55) the successor to Mauricio Pochettino. But it won’t be free. According to the website Foot Market Nice is asking for a check between 8 and 10 M€ to let Galtier go.

This is significantly more than the sum paid by the Aiglons to LOSC a year ago, namely between 2 and 3 M€. As revealed by our colleagues from The Team this Sunday, PSG could include players in the transaction in order to lower the price of Galtier. They would be (very) young players. Foot Market understands that the promising striker Djeidi Gassama (18) has caught the eye of the 9th in Ligue 1. Negotiations should continue this week.
