Nearly fifty judokas for Toketa

Brassac-les-Mines. About fifty judokas for the 12th Toketa. The Bassin judo club has just organized the twelfth edition of the Toketa challenge. This year, it brought together the USI Judo and Martial Arts Sauxillanges, that is to say about fifty judokas.

The whole team of the organizing club has worked to offer this competition meeting for young judokas, but not only. It was also an opportunity for two of them to pass their exams as young officials: Kilian Mas Serafinowski is now a club referee and Louka Menna a club sports commissioner. They received their diploma from the hands of their training manager. On the adult side, no less than six officials have validated their UV (unit of value) for their first or second dan black belt.

A moving moment for the judokas who received their medals and t-shirts from their coach, but also from the association assistant, Jacques Carlet.

He wanted to congratulate all the judokas for their journey this afternoon, but also the young people for their investment in the club. “Without the leaders, this competition could not have taken place. We are lucky to have a solid club which has also been able to manage the Covid crisis. »
