Xavi Simons will be free of any contract in five days and Paris is threatened. Announced close to a contract extension with PSG at the end of May, the versatile Dutchman has not yet signed a new lease and is attracting attention from all over Europe. The interest of PSV Eindhoven was notably revealed this Saturday by the regional daily Eindhovens Dagblad (ED).
According to information from Dutch journalist Rik Elfrink, the 19-year-old midfielder is the priority target of Ruud van Nistelrooy, appointed to the PSV bench this summer. Simons would replace Mario Götze, who left for Eintrach Frankfurt. The former La Masia is not, however, the only track activated by the Dutch club, aware of the difficulty of the transaction.“
