The season ends for the Mauron judo club (Morbihan). “After two difficult years, we were able to rediscover the training sessions, the gatherings and the collective which is at the heart of our sport” underlines Bruno Jouan, president of the Mauronnais dojo.

70 colored belts

If the black belts are given throughout the year, over the successes, the colored belts, from white to brown, are awarded at the end of the cycle. 70 in total were handed over, meaning for each practitioner a noted progression. And this, from the age of five.

The interclub brought together 230 competitors

Before ending the year, the interclub tournament took place in the facilities of Mauron. “We welcomed more than 230 competitors, a success to conclude the year, in a context which reduced the possibilities of competitions and friendly meetings” recalled Bruno Jouan.

For a week at the end of July, the club with its teacher Pierre Duren organizes a week of cohesion in the sports facilities in Mauron for about thirty children.

“After forced breaks in 2020 and 2021, we find this week of activities around martial arts, but above all based on physical training and group activities, in a relaxed spirit”.
