Gold medals for Spremberg judo juniors at the Mammut Cup

The Spremberg judo juniors from KSC ASAHI hosted the 14th International Mammut Cup. With a total of ten gold medals, the young fighters grabbed the big team trophy. A total of 240 participants from 27 clubs and three nations were represented.

KSC ASAHI Spremberg said:

At the 14th International Mammut Cup, a total of 240 fighters from 27 clubs and 3 nations took to the Spremberg competition mat. The age groups u9 and u11 fought in the pool system in order to enable as many encounters as possible for all the children who had travelled.

A total of 172 medals and honorary prizes were awarded by the company MAMMUT Spiel & Gift Vertriebs GmbH from Spremberg. With 10 gold medals, the ASAHI juniors secured the big team trophy. Followed by PSV Frankfurt / Oder with 8 gold medals and the Pretorian Judo Team from Wroclaw, Poland. Leipziger Sportlöwen and BV Lauchhammer followed in the other places with 4 wins each.

The Spremberger gold medals were won by: Ferdinand Völker, Timon Buchholz, Dave Kossack, Martin Meyer, Emma Glaser, Sophie Jelonek, Amy Krupper, Amelia Krupper, Alexa Latuschek and Alexandra Mariscal
