Frank Raes said goodbye to ‘Extra Time’ at the beginning of this year. He passed the torch to Aster Nzeyimana. Striking: Raes hardly ever looks at his successor.
“I haven’t watched ‘Extra Time’ that much since my goodbye,” Raes says in the podcast Cafe Constant† “However, I have also often been away for a documentary about the Heysel drama in which I participate.”
“I sometimes forget it when I was gone. I’ve already seen pieces, you know. In that green studio…”, says Raes.
The sports journalist does not miss ‘Extra Time’. “Of course I started it in 2009, but letting go was no problem. With Filip Joos I made what it has become,” says Raes.
Other media world
“However, we are now in a different era,” continues Raes. “There are a lot of podcasts and the media world has completely changed.”
