Eneriko Buliruarua leaves La Rochelle and joins Bayonne

Fijian international center La Rochelle Eneriko Buliruarua will join the Bayonne club where he will sign a one-year contract with an option for an additional one.

Fijian international center La Rochelle Eneriko Buliruarua has signed up for two seasons with Bayonne, the Basque club promoted to the Top 14 announced on Tuesday.

Buliruarua, 25, passed through Toulon and Brive, has been playing for a season in the ranks of the new European champion for whom he has played 16 matches this season (4 tries scored).

Fijian international (3 caps), Buliruarua has JIFF status. He is the second player from La Rochelle to join the promoted Bayonnais after Argentinian international hooker Facundo Bosch, 30, who signed a one-year contract on Monday, with an optional additional year.
