The Municipality of General Pico held an outstanding meeting that brought together girls, boys, adolescents, adults and adults who are part of the free sports disciplines offered by the Sports Directorate.
On this occasion, the proposal was developed in the SUM of the Federal Plan Secondary School, at 405 N° 218 Street. During the whole morning and much of the afternoon yesterday, volleyball, badminton, skate and Zumba classes were held for all ages. .
“Approximately more than 160 adolescents from different neighborhoods of our city are participating in this second recreational and participatory volleyball match,” the Director of Sports, Mariela Lera, began by expressing.
Next, he mentioned that “we also have a great accompaniment from their families who came to enjoy with their daughters and sons,” he continued.
“During the afternoon, free badminton, skate and zumba classes were given, and games were held simultaneously from 4 years old. Finally we closed with a snack for all the people who participated in the activities”.
Lera thanked “the collaboration of all those who joined this cooperative sports proposal. Accompanying our teenagers is a long-term investment”, concluded the municipal official.
The meeting was held with the aim of continuing to summon and add those who wish to participate in one of the many free sports and recreational activities that take place in each neighborhood of the city.
