One of the confirmed exits in Atlético Nacional is that of Felipe Aguilar. The 29-year-old defender from Antioquia will travel to Argentina to join Lanús, a club that will have him in their ranks for a year on loan, from Athletico Paranaense in Brazil, owner of his card.
After playing the final, this Tuesday, Aguilar published on his Instagram account, a message of thanks to managers, colleagues and fans about his second stage with the purslane.
“I think there is no better way to say goodbye to the team you love than being champion. A year ago I arrived with the desire and the illusion of obtaining titles with this institution and that’s how it was”, he pointed out.
In addition, Felipe commented that “first I want to thank God, President Emilio Gutiérrez, Alejandro Restrepo, Francisco Nájera and the board of directors of Atlético Nacional for giving me the opportunity to return again; as well as the staff, players and all the personnel who work for the club. Every time I had the opportunity to compete, I gave my life for these colors and I did not spare the slightest effort and that is why I leave happy, because I know what it is like to play for this institution, in which I always felt at home”.
Finally, Aguilar dedicated some heartfelt words to the green fans. “Last, but not least, to all the purslane fans for their support, how nice it is to feel loved and valued, vibrate in the same tune and be chanted by the fans, with all my heart may God pay you.”
In this second stage with Atlético Nacional, Felipe Aguilar has played 27 official matches so far: 22 in the League, three in the Colombia Cup and two in the Copa Libertadores. He has eight titles with the Greens: he won two Leagues, three Colombian Cups, one Copa Libertadores and one Recopa Sudamericana.
