Giro 2024: the rankings after the 10th stage, French double with Paret-Peintre and Bardet

A great day for the French. This Tuesday, during the 10th stage of the Giro 2024, Valentin Paret-Peintre (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale) won the first victory of his professional career at 23 years old. For his part, Romain Bardet (DSM-Firmenich PostNL) fought for victory, but could not resist his compatriot. Second, he performed superbly in the general classification and moved from 14th to 7th place.

The pink jersey, Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates), was more discreet this Tuesday. In the peloton, the Slovenian did not have to defend his leading position in the general classification, since his direct competitors did not attack him.
