Bonilla receives the Mexican Basketball Team prior to the qualifying game: ADEMEBA Chihuahua – El Heraldo de Chihuahua

The mayor of Chihuahua, Marco Antonio Bonilla Mendoza, received the Mexican Basketball Team in his office ahead of their match against Cuba, to be held in the state capital this Friday, July 1.

It will be at the Manuel Bernardo Aguirre Gymnasium, where the tricolor quintet will face the third window of the 2023 FIBA ​​World Cup qualifiers, with the next match against the Puerto Rican team, in San Juan, on July 4.

Former NBA Jorge Gutierrez, Gabriel Girón, Paul Stoll and company brought the mayor an autographed jersey in gratitude for his support of sports and specifically basketball.

For its part, the Mexican Basketball Sports Association (ADEMEBA), in its Chihuahua delegation, through its president Jorge Medina, highlighted the importance of bringing this type of competition to the great state, since in this way its tradition and roots with burst sport, in addition to thanking Mayor Bonilla and the director of the Municipal Sports Institute, Juan Abdo, for their great commitment to basketball.
