Baja adds first medals in charrería | Mexicali News

Baja California concluded the first day with a gold, three silvers and a bronze in the Charrería discipline of the Conade 2022 National Games.

The gold for the Baja Californian delegation was registered in the Juvenile category within block 1, which included tests such as horse cove, piales on the canvas and tails.

José Julio Villaseñor, Esteban Ibarra, Emilio Esquer and José Antonio Rábago climbed to the top of the podium, leaving the State of Jalisco in second place and the State of Mexico with bronze.

In Infantil, Baja California, was the second best delegation in the competition with 278 points, only behind Aguascalientes that added 292 points and above Jalisco that concluded with a score of 261.

The other two silvers were given in block 1, where the champion was Jalisco, while the bronze went to Guerrero and in block 2, with the gold going to Aguascalientes and the bronze again to Guerrero.
