School sportsmen on a raid at the castle

Nogent-le-Roi. An UNSS raid at the castle. The National Union of School Sport (UNSS 28) of Eure-et-Loir, the sports association of colleges and high schools, organized Tuesday and Wednesday, a multisport raid, in Nogent-le-Roi

“This regional championship is a qualifier for the French championships”, specifies Nicolas Bouttier, the departmental director of the UNSS 28, assisted by Franck Godard, teacher at Nogent-le-Roi and Laurent Laigneau, teacher at Epernon, UNSS coordinators.

“There are orienteering races, mountain biking, canoeing and various skill tests such as archery, laser run and a whole context around the environment”. The championship brings together 22 teams over the 2 days, i.e. 8 associations from different high schools.

At night

The young people have taken up residence at the Ilots de Saint-Val campsite in Villiers-le-Morhier.

“There are three events, the first part takes place in the castle park, a relay orienteering race, a run and bike, with one bike for four athletes and an orienteering race at night, in the park, and on Wednesday, the raid takes place in Ecluzelles with a 30 km mountain bike ride from the Etang de Chandelles to Ecluzelles at the start”.
