Gomez, 21, arrived in Anderlecht last summer from Dortmund. Aligned as a left-back, the Spaniard has demonstrated his attacking qualities throughout the season with 6 goals and 11 assists. Collectively, he reached the final of the Belgian Cup and finished in 3rd place in the league with the RSCA.
Matondo, also 21, was loaned to Cercle Brugge this season by Schalke 04. The Welsh striker, who has 9 caps in the national team, has shown himself in the Bruges jersey this season with 9 goals and 2 assists.
The Pro League gala is scheduled for Monday in Brussels. The Pro League will award its various end-of-season prizes, including the traditional Pro Footballer of the Year trophy.
