The representation of Paraguay closed its participation in the framework of the Odesur 2022 South American Youth Games with a total of 14 medals obtained in the competition that was held in Rosario, Argentina.
On the last date of the contest, the Guaraní representation obtained 3 more medals. In futsal, the white and red team defeated Bolivia 3-1 with goals from Luciano Luraghi, Fabricio Vera and Erwin Zorrilla.
In boxing, Lucas Sosa Heimburg won the bronze medal in the 69-75 kg category and Luciana García won silver in the fencing category.
The gold medals: Daniel Vallejo in tennis; men’s double in tennis; Luana Alonso in swimming; Danisse Álvarez/Fiorella Núñez in beach volleyball and Violeta Fernández in weightlifting.
Silver: Luana Alonso in swimming 2; Fabrizio Jara in athletics and Luciana García in fencing.
Bronze: Mixed Doubles Tennis; Camilo Vargas/Ángel Palacios in beach volleyball; Alejandro Ávalos/Josías Haneman, badminton; bronze, Lucas Sosa Heimburg, boxing, and Futsal Selection.
