The Reds, nicknamed Liverpool, locked a place in the 2022 Champions League final after winning over Villarreal in the semi-final second leg, Wednesday (4/5/2022) early morning WIB.
Competing at the Estadio de la Ceramica, Juergen Klopp’s Liverpool managed to beat the hosts with a score of 3-2.
Villarreal could actually have won two goals in the first half through the actions of Boulaye Dia in the 3rd minute and Francis Coquelin in the 41st minute.
However, Liverpool managed to score three goals in the second half.
The three goals for the Reds were scored by Fabinho (62′), Luis Diaz (67′) and Sadio Mane (74′).
