Who would have thought this a few months ago? Barcelona are in second place in La Liga after today. After a dry 2-1 victory against middle-class Mallorca, it jumps over Sevilla. More good news for the Catalans: child prodigy Ansu Fati made his comeback after 4 months of injury.
In La Liga, the championship is for Real Madrid, but the closest places of honor have yet to be divided. FC Barcelona was able to take over the second place from Sevilla again tonight. Something that seemed impossible a few months ago.
