UEFA makes compromise with clubs about new Champions League format

UEFA football association, European leagues and clubs have agreed on UEFA’s reform plans for the Champions League. In the new format, which will take effect in the 2024-2025 season, the clubs will play eight matches in the group stage instead of the initially proposed ten matches.
