2nd and 3rd place at district judo championship

Per Konrads and Noah Steinhauer achieved two places on the podium. Both now go to the district championships.

After a long forced Corona break, judoka from JC Mifune entered the fighting area again: Per Konrads and Noah Steinhauer started at the individual district championship in the U13 age group. “Per convinced with good techniques and a self-confident demeanor, but in the end had to put up with time and technical defeats,” reports Marvin Hunker from the Hückeswagen Judo Club. It was Noah’s first time at a championship, but it wasn’t felt. “He had the judoka, some of whom were technically much more advanced, well under control for a while and forced them to make mistakes,” says Hunker. Once he had to be technically beaten. A second time, his opponent made one mistake too many, and Noah won via his opponent’s hansoku make (a final, disqualifying penalty).

Both the fighters and the trainers Imke Czersinsky, Marvin Hunker and Eddy Tscheschlog were satisfied with a second and third place. Per and Noah also qualified for the district championships in Swisstal.
