ROSETO DEGLI ABRUZZI – On the afternoon of Saturday 23 April, starting at 17:30, the Council Room of the Municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi will open to celebrate the combination of culture and sport in the “Rosetan way”. The book “One Hundred Years of Rosetitude” by Vincenzo will be presented By Bonaventurabook produced by the journalist Luca Maggitti in which the author, Rosetan by birth and heart, recounts a century of Rosetan basketball grafted with his life experience as a director and actor. In fact, the author takes the reader by the hand and, reliving his own existence dedicated to theater and basketball, pays homage to the pride of a city by speaking of the most precious asset: life.
The presentation of the book will be accompanied by the official visit of the Roseto Basketball team which, just a few weeks ago, won the coveted Serie B Italian Cup in the blaze of Pala Maggetti. On this occasion the Mayor, on behalf of the city, will thank the team and the “Le Quote” Consortium for having enriched the basketball history of the city with this important result.
The whole team will be present with the Italian Cup and will receive the “Silver Rose” symbol of our city from the hands of the Mayor.
