The funeral of Lodovico Calandri, who died at the age of 55, overwhelmed by an avalanche in the Upper Maira Valley, will be held tomorrow, Tuesday 12 April, at 3.30 pm at the parish church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
“Dry your tears and don’t cry if you love me: your smile is my peace.” With this phrase, family and friends remember him.
55 years old, from Cuneo, an employee of Olimac in Margarita for some years worked in the folding department with a past as a financial consultant and real estate agent. Calandri was the victim of in an accident on Saturday 9 April in a ski mountaineering descent. He was together with three other people in the Punta Vallonasso area at almost 3,000 meters above sea level.
A great sports enthusiast, in addition to ski mountaineering, he practiced bikes and Judo, a martial art he had been carrying out for years with the Kodokan company in Cuneo.
He leaves his wife Claudia and daughter Elisa, his mother Caterina, his father Giovanni and his brother Franco.
After the function he will be accompanied to the Crematorium Temple of Magliano Alpi. The ashes will rest in the urban cemetery.
The rosary will be recited today, Monday 11 April at 5.30 pm, at the parish church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
