There will be six Italians competing in the IBSA Judo Gran Prix, scheduled in Tbilisi, Georgia, from 18 to 19 May.
In addition to Carolina Costa and Dong Dong Camanni, already qualified for Paris 2024, in the race there will be Matilde Lauria, Valerio Romano Teodori, Simone Cannizzaro and Valerio Arancio Febbo.
In Tbilisi, together with the staff of the National Judo team composed of the Technical Director Silvio Tavoletta, the Coaches Francesco Faraldo and Alessia Regis, and the Physiotherapist Giorgio Perexample, the Federal President Sandro Di Girolamo and the Head of Foreign Affairs Renato Tomei will be present. The Grand Prix matches will take place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May at the “Tbilisi Olympic Palace”.
