MLB commissioner gave headphones to players on Opening Day

baseball commissioner, Rob Manfred, gifted Major League Baseball players with Bose headphonesopening day as a peace offering after a bitter 99 day lockout which delayed the start of the season.

Major League Baseball confirmed that the headphones and a letter signed by Manfred they were left in each player’s locker when teams began their seasons on Thursday and Friday. The present was first reported by The Athletic.

“Please accept this gift as a small gesture of my gratitude for the hard work that goes into being a Major League Baseball player and their respect for our incredible fans,” wrote the MLB commissioner, Rob Manfred.

The relationship of Manfred with the players has become more and more cold since it happened to Bud Selig as commissioner in 2014. However, this MLB start seems to have started in the best way, plagued by exciting matches.
