SC Freiburg – FC Bayern Munich: Victory due to change error for Bayern in danger – Bundesliga

Bayern’s 4-1 win in Freiburg quickly became a non-issue.

Excitement in the 86th minute: despite being substituted, Coman touches the ball again. Bayern obviously play 12 for about 20 seconds. There are minute-long discussions between the team of referees and those responsible for both clubs before the game continues.

Referee Christian Dingert then lets the game continue with a referee ball.

Is Bayern victory in danger now? Yes!

In the legal and procedural rules of the DFB, paragraph 17, paragraph 4 it says:

“If a player was not eligible to play or field a game in a game, the team that culpably fielded that player lost the game 2-0 and the opponent won 2-0, unless that The game had not yet been resumed by the referee after the player who was not eligible to play or to be deployed.”

Sabitzer, who was supposed to come on for Coman, was not allowed to play in this case. A player is only eligible to play when the substitute has left the field.

The game could subsequently be counted as a defeat for Bayern – but only if Freiburg protests against the game rating!

The club now has two days to decide. If there is no protest within this period, Bayern’s victory remains in any case.

Before it was a joker game, two substitutes meet.

Joker-Tor Nr. 1.

63 minutes: Nils Petersen (33) makes it 1-1. 17 seconds after being substituted on! The attacker only extended his contract with SCF on Friday.

The goal is Petersen’s 100th goal in a competitive game in 232 games.

Joker-Tor Nr. 2.

73. Minute: Hernández crosses to Gnabry, who has just been substituted. The national player prevails in the center against Schlotterbeck, pushes in the bottom right.

Previously, Leon Goretzka (27) had gilded his first game since December 4 (3-2 in Dortmund), after a Kimmich free-kick with a head that gave the record champions a 1-0 lead (58th). Because of persistent problems with the patella tendon, Goretzka had been absent for so long (119 days).

Coman decided the game after a long ball from Upamecano (82nd). The Frenchman shoots into the short corner, Flekken can only steer the ball into his own goal. Sabitzer scores in injury time (90+6). The Austrian’s 1st Bundesliga goal for Bayern.

Things get hectic in the 49th minute: Freiburg’s Schmid hits Kimmich, but the referee Dingert gives SC a free kick. Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann (34) doesn’t like that at all, he explodes on the sidelines, kicks against the coaching bench, almost knocks “Brazzo” over and then shouts at the fourth official.

By the way: Referee Dingert was also in action for another change error. At the beginning of the season in the cup game between Preußen Münster and Wolfsburg. The then Wolves coach Mark van Bommel had changed six times (three times in regular time, three times in extra time), so one too many. At the green table, the encounter was scored for Münster.
