Mérignac-Arlac achieves its first success of the season

And yet, things were not so simple on this sunny Sunday, in view of a first half dominated by the Auvergne du Puy. But in goal, Léa Dupruilh achieved the feat of repelling the penalty shot by the Senegalese striker, Ndewe Awa Diakhaté (15th). Definitely the turning point of the meeting.

“They deserve it”

Fortunately also, the goal of Marion Blanc-Gonnet at the start of the match was disallowed for offside (4th) or even this royal opportunity from Charlotte Ouillon who came crashing into the post of Dupruilh (30th). But Arlac had been able to show solidarity to let the storm of the first period pass.

On returning from the locker room, the comebacks of Anaïs Feillard and Charlotte Serna brought liveliness to the sides. Mérignac-Arlac pushed and believed to obtain a free kick well placed on a foul on Serna at the entrance to the area but the central referee did not flinch (77th). But it was only a postponement! Léa Crouzet catapulted the leather into the nets of Cassandra Moinet with the joy that we imagine (1-0, 89th). The Mérignacaises held on until the end and could enjoy!
