Tournament Champions.
The final of the II Quindío Maxi 40 Tournament was played, a contest organized by Héctor Felipe Angulo, which saw the Miltejas team, led by Jairo Palacios, win the title by defeating Espartanos, led by Professor Fernando Villalobos, in the grand final 49-37.
The competition had the participation of 7 teams, all of high level, objective pursued by Angulo, who dreams of seeing the sport of basket strengthened in the department and discover new figures in a discipline that is very well received in the country.
“A third edition of this tournament is expected to be held, which is increasingly more popular among athletes. With events like this, we seek to recover spaces: for this, more free tournaments and flash tournaments of different categories are coming”, explained the organizer.
