The first Tournament of the Women’s Under 13 Regional Basketball Championship, organized by the Libertas Liguria Regional Center, took place at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Alassio, and in the adjacent pressostatic structure. The Alassio Tournament, the first stage of the Interprovincial phase of the Libertas Championship, saw the participation of three associations: Alassio Basketball, Rari Nantes Bordighera and Savonese Basketball.
The success went to the Savonese basketball team which won in both races with the other two teams registered for the event. At the conclusion of the first of the three stages of the Interprovincial phase, Cestistica Savonese leads in the provisional classification with 4 points, followed by Pallacanestro Alassio at two points, while Rari Nantes Bordighera closes with zero points. The best scorers of the individual teams, on this first day dedicated to very young players were IlaryEneide 27 points (Rari Nantes Bordighera) Giada Scotti 19 (Savonese Cestistica) and Giulia Fascetto 9 (Pallacanestro Alassio).
Below are the results of the individual races and the next two Tournaments of the Interprovincial Phase. Alassio 33 basketball – Rari Nantes Bordighera 21, Alassio 19 basketball – Savonese basketball 27, Rari Nantes Bordighera 31 – Savona 49. Next appointment Saturday 30 April in Ventimiglia. The tournament will end on Saturday 21 May at the PalaPagnini in Savona.
