The young people of the “performance” group, from the Olympic Badminton Club Concarnois (Bocc) have resumed training. Most of them have already taken part in the first regional and departmental tournaments. “Integrating this group requires a significant investment”, recognizes the president Philippe le Cam, “with four working sessions per week and the sports meetings organized on Sunday”.
In terms of numbers, the start of the school year went rather well for the Concarnois club. Young people signed up in droves. “I think parents want their children to move again”, analyzes the leader. Adults who practice in leisure seem, for their part, more reluctant to reconnect with sport. “They will come back,” assures Philippe. “We are used to this type of situation. We also take contributions throughout the year.
