BVB will have to do without US boy Giovanni Reyna (19) until the end of the season, the club announced via an official press release. The Dortmund talent injured himself after just 52 seconds in Friday’s game against Stuttgart (3-0).
Mats Hummels (33) is also out for several weeks – and thus misses the Bundesliga hit at Bayern in two weeks.
Reyna sustained a muscle and tendon injury. Hummels, on the other hand, suffered a muscle injury in his thigh. So the two are definitely not in the squad for the top game against Bayern on Saturday, April 23 (6:30 p.m.).
Further examinations are pending for Mo Dahoud (26), who was also injured and substituted off against Stuttgart. He had injured his shoulder.
