Borussia Mönchengladbach: Four-game ultimatum from Adi Hütter! – Bundesliga

After the embarrassing derby bankruptcy against Cologne (1: 3), there was heavy criticism of Gladbach coach Adi Hütter (52).

Many fans want a separation in the summer. But Hütter continues to enjoy the full backing of the club bosses. Instead, it’s now up to the professionals…

Hütter’s four-game ultimatum!

Before the game in Freiburg (Sat., 3.30 p.m. / Sky) Hütter warns: “We still have four games to play in which I will gather important impressions. I want to see who wants to play for Borussia Mönchengladbach in the future, who tears themselves apart from the first to the last minute. Every single player has to show me that they want to continue on this path with us in the future.”

An unmistakable announcement to Gladbach’s derby losers!

Where does the coach get the hope that his team will present themselves differently in Freiburg after the desolate performance against FC?

Hütter: “Every professional must have the right to get up again after such a blow to the neck. A few small changes can go a long way.”

Especially since sports director Roland Virkus (55) makes it clear that the topic of relegation is not yet off the table for Borussia: “We’re not done mathematically yet. It’s not about proclaiming 9th place as a goal – it’s about achieving our minimum goal of staying up in the league as early as possible. And you shouldn’t rely on the results of other clubs – you should do it on your own.”

Preferably with a win in Freiburg!
