Bayern have England snapper Jimenez on their radar

According to media reports, Bayern only want to extend Robert Lewandowski to 2024, while numerous names are circulating on Säbener Straße about the successor to the FIFA world footballer. New in the draw: Raul Jimenez of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Whether Robert Lewandowski will extend his contract with Bayern is currently in the stars. The talks are to be continued in the near future, after which there should be more clarity. However, it seems certain that the Munich team want a decision by the summer. Incidentally, it seems that other names are already being discussed on Säbener Straße: center forward Raul Jimenez is said to be one of them.

Report: Bayern interested in Raul Jimenez

Mexican newspaper El Futbolero reports that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Raul Jimenez from Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer. The Mexican currently has a market value of 22 million euros, which could be very attractive for FCB. However, Jimenez is already 30 years old and has only scored six goals in 30 games this season.

He would not be a player who would replace Lewandowski in the long term. And the Pole is also currently at the highest level in terms of quality, so it seems unlikely that Jimenez could adequately replace him.
