Bastianins win MotoGP American Grand Prix

Second place went to Alex Alex (“Suzuki Ecstar”) from Spain, and Jack Miller from Australia (“Ducati Lenovo”) finished in the top three.

Roin’s teammate and compatriot Hoan Mirs remained outside the top three, while vice-champion Francesco Banjaja (“Ducati Lenovo”) took fifth place. Meanwhile, six-time MotoGP world champion Mark Marks (Repsol Honda) returned to sixth place after the previous stage.

Last season’s champion, Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) was seventh, Pramac’s motorcyclists Jorge Martin and Frenchman Joan Zarko were eighth and ninth, respectively. The first ten was completed by Maverick Vinjaless (“Aprilia”).

After four stages, the leader with 61 points is Bastianini, the second place with 56 points is taken by Rins, and the third with 50 points is the Spanish motorcyclist Aleišs Espargaro, who in this stage, taking the 11th place, remained out of the top ten.

There are 21 stages in the calendar this season, the next of which will take place in two weeks in Portimao, Portugal.
