Antonio Conte, who is currently being linked with Juventus, thinks that the news that he is going to Paris Saint-Germain is just a rumor.
INDOSPORT.COM – Tottenham Hotspur coach, Antonio Conte, has publicly denied the issue if he will soon be inaugurated as the new skipper of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The former Juventus and Chelsea manager chose to focus on his current job and accused the media of only spreading hoaxes or false news.
PSG is currently still being managed by Mauricio Pochettino but Les Parisiens have planned to change the reins of coaching.
The failure to win the Champions League this season is the reason Pochettino will be up front and Conte is one of the candidates to replace him.
Conte is considered to have more charisma to be the boss in the Parc des Princes dressing room which is filled with big egos.
Conte has also been proven to be able to bring trophies in many places. The Italian architect currently has five league titles won in three different teams.
However, he still wants to concentrate on Tottenham. At least for now with a contract until June 2023 binding him.
“I think it’s nice when other clubs take into account me but I don’t like it when the media starts making nonsense,” said Conte. Sky Sports.
“This is not a good thing. Good for me, for the club involved, and also for the players. We are focused on preparing for the final games,”
“Those who have spread these rumors should be able to show more respect and not create fake news to create a scene,” he added.
