A first victory for the Francis Ngannou Foundation

On the occasion of the national mini judo competition for boys and girls called “Golden Kimono 2022”, two judokas from the foundation of the UFC World Champion won the very first metals of the center.

Marking the opening of the 2022 sports season at the Cameroon Judo Federation (Fecajudo), more than 500 young judokas from several clubs in the national triangle responded to this first competition.

Sadato Ismaïl, silver medalist

Among the stables present is the Francis Ngannou Foundation represented by 8 judokas. Two of them stood on the podium for the silver and bronze medals. Aged 14, Sadeto Ismaël is one of the team’s medalists, “I had a good opponent but I just knew how to counter his attacks” he explains.

Three years old, the Foundation based in the West region of Cameroon, more precisely in Batié, teaches several disciplines such as kingboxing, Jiu jutsi, Karate and Judo. According to Sadeto Ismail, “My club teaches us the technique well. »
