Jamal Murray would return to the Denver Nuggets before the NBA playoffs

Denver Nuggets star point guard Jamal Murray would return to the team before the start of the NBA playoffs, The Athletic’s Sam Amick reported.

Murray hasn’t played since tearing the ACL in his knee last April in a game against the Golden State Warriors. The Canadian was averaging 21.2 points on 47.7% shooting in 48 appearances during the 2020-21 campaign.

His eventual return will be a tremendous boost for the Nuggets, who sit sixth in the Western Conference with a 36-25 win record.

In other good news for Denver, Michael Porter Jr. is also expected to return in March, as he is in the final stages of his recovery from back surgery.
