Mets hire Elizabeth Benn as COO

The New York Mets have finalized the hiring of Elizabeth Benn as their new director of major league operations, according to information provided by The Associated Press.

In this way, Benn becomes the highest-ranking woman in the history of the Queens franchise, after making a career in the MLB since 2017, with roles related to youth programs and baseball operations.

From now on, the Mets front office will have a feminine vision that could give the team the touch that they have been missing in recent years to return to the World Series.

Let’s remember that Kim Ng is the general manager of the Miami Marlins, so definitely little by little the MLB is filling up with very talented and intelligent women.
