Marin Pongracic from Borussia Dortmund apparently takes VfL Wolfsburg to court. As the Sportbuzzer reports, the central defender, who was loaned to BVB this season, is suing his parent club for unpaid bonuses.

Specifically, it’s about the bonus for reaching the Champions League in the previous season. Pongracic had qualified for the competition with VfL as fourth in the table. The views of the player and the club apparently differ about the amount of the premium due. The Croatian national player is said to be demanding a payment of 250,000 euros.

Pongracic has played ten times for BVB so far

“From our understanding of the law, the situation is clear,” Wolfsburg manager Jörg Schmadtke told Sportbuzzer. According to the report, a hearing before the Braunschweig labor court is scheduled for early March.

The 24-year-old Pongracic is on loan for Borussia Dortmund this season and has made ten Bundesliga appearances so far. A few weeks ago he had already caused a stir and those responsible for the BVB and VfL upset.
