Kyrie Irving’s statement that will shake the competition!

Thanks to a road-trip of 4 meetings, Kyrie Irving was able to chain the matches for the first time this season. Author of remarkable performances, the star leader of the Nets delivered remarks that should not reassure his next opponents!

As a part-time player, it’s hard to find automatisms with his teammates. Kyrie Irving learned this the hard way following his return to competition. Deprived of Nets home games because of his refusal to be vaccinated, the 29-year-old point guard was only able to take part in 3 games in the space of ten days. Fortunately, his franchise schedule has been kinder to him lately.

After the loss of Kevin Durant against the Pelicans, Steve Nash was indeed able to count on Uncle Drew for the next four games, all played away. A blessing for him, which he did not really know how to take advantage of. Of these four trips, his men have only managed to win two, defeated by the Cavaliers, and more recently by the Timberwolves (125-136). Kyrie, he has not much to blame himself for this period.

Kyrie Irving takes stock and terrorizes the league

Author of excellent averages (27.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 52.9% in shooting, 39.3% in 3 points), Irving seemed very strong in this series of games. An impression that he confirmed at a press conference.

Right now, if I were to self-evaluate, I think I’m slowly starting to get back on top. Doing a good road trip like this was a good test. I am simply grateful to have been able to chain the matches and to come out of this period in good health.

Satisfied with his individual performance, he however regrets the results presented at the same time by his team.

I feel like I’m finding rhythm in terms of my form, being able to play on both sides of the pitch, and in terms of my stances and marksmanship. After that, there are only small adjustments to be made match after match. It was new for me to chain like that. We end with a balanced score of 2-2. I would have liked it to be 3-1 or 4-0, but sometimes it doesn’t go the way we want it to.

Anyway, the time is now at rest for the 2016 champion, while his partners will receive the Lakers and the Nuggets in the coming days. The opportunity for him to work in training, while trying to maintain his good momentum.

I’m going to stay in the gym, stay in shape as much as I can, and try to keep my pace.

If he succeeds, his future opponents, starting with the Warriors, have reason to worry!

Slowly but surely, Kyrie Irving finds the impact he could have had before his shelving at the Nets. A vision that must obviously delight his team and his fans, but much less the rest of the NBA!
