Karim Benzema threatens to leave if Real Madrid insists on signing Erling Haaland.
INDOSPORT.COM – Real Madrid bomber Karim Benzema has warned club officials to cancel their intention to recruit Erling Haaland.
According to reports from The National, Karim Benzema has spoken privately with the president of Real Madrid, Florentio Perez. He advised that he would withdraw from the Santiago Bernabeu if he still insisted on landing Erling Haaland.
Not without reason, apparently Karim Benzema is not compatible with the Borussia Dortmund bomber. Both players have character as striker number 9.
If Haaland lands at Los Blancos, the possibility of the French national team striker could be eliminated because Carlo Ancelotti is currently using a one striker scheme.
Borussia Dortmund itself is actually very difficult to release the Norwegian bomber. But he can’t do much because the player has a release clause worth around £68 million which is active in the 2022 summer transfer market.
Apart from Haaland, Real Madrid also has plans to sign PSG star Kylian Mbappe. The 23-year-old player will be a free player next season because he has not yet agreed to a contract extension at PSG.
