Michaël Cuisance moved from Borussia Mönchengladbach to FC Bayern with high goals. But he was never able to prevail and attracted attention with a questionable action. Now he is about to leave. An Italian club is interested.
Et is a short, quiet winter break at FC Bayern. The team will be training again on January 2nd and there are no plans to buy players. A professional will most likely leave the club for this: Michaël Cuisance.
The 22-year-old does not play an important role in the plans of the German record champions and should change if a lucrative offer occurs. There could be a decision in the coming days. The transfer period runs from January 1st to January 31st.

BILD and Sky report that FC Venice is interested in the French midfielder. The promoted Italian Serie A is said to have made a written offer for around ten million euros at FC Bayern.
In addition, CSKA Moscow is said to want to have Cuisance. The French clubs FC Lorient and FC Metz had apparently requested a loan deal. The Bavarians reportedly refused, they want to sell Cuisance.
Cuisance moved from Borussia Mönchengladbach to Munich in 2019 for around eight million euros, his contract is valid until June 30, 2024. He did not succeed in making the hoped-for leap to regular strength. Even when Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka were absent, he almost never played. FC Bayern and Michaël Cuisance – it was probably a big misunderstanding.
Only 13 deployments since 2019
In the first half of the season he was only used once in the Bundesliga, playing twelve minutes in a 5-0 win against VfB Stuttgart. His only long game: 45 minutes in the DFB Cup against the fifth division club Bremer SV (12: 0). In 26 competitive games, Cuisance was not part of coach Julian Nagelsmann’s squad 16 times. He was once in corona quarantine. In two and a half years at FC Bayern, Cuisance has only made 13 appearances.
Bayern wanted to get rid of him last summer. After just one season at Bayern, Cuisance was loaned to Olympique Marseille, but the French club refused to make use of their purchase option (18 million euros). Cuisance returned to Munich. And is dissatisfied that he hardly plays.
He is considered to be a technically very good player with a difficult character. In the last first round match against VfL Wolfsburg (4-0) he threw his warm-up bib over the gang towards Nagelsmann after warming up from the bench. In BILD, Cuisance assured that the action was misinterpreted and not meant to be disrespectful. He also said that there was once a discussion between him and Nagelsmann.
In Mönchengladbach people were already talking about his attitude, the coach at the time Marco Rose and sports director Max Eberl criticized his behavior. This continued in Munich. In Marseille he was finally suspended.
