DFB meet Netherlands in the international match – first top opponent for Flick

In March things gradually get serious for Hansi Flick. After the stroll through the World Cup qualification, the national coach and his team meet an arch rival in a test.

The second opponent of the German national team in 2022 will be the Netherlands. The DFB announced on Friday. On March 29th (Tuesday) the Elftal welcomes the team of national coach Hansi Flick to a test match in Amsterdam. Previously, Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer and Co. are already in Sinsheim to meet Israel.

The Netherlands are the first high-profile opponents for Flick, who had few problems with North Macedonia, Armenia and Romania in qualifying for the World Cup. Before the Nations League in the summer with opponents like Italy and England, “Oranje” is the first opponent from the top 10 in the world rankings.
