As his contract with FC Barcelona ends in June 2023, Ronald Araújo’s situation is beginning to arouse the curiosity of some English leaders. According to information from Mark, Manchester United and Chelsea could fight a big battle next summer to try to enlist the Uruguayan defender. With the sale of its 22-year-old defender, estimated at 35 million euros, Barça would recover precious money in the prospect of affording the Norwegian prodigy Erling Haaland.
Looking for reinforcements, Ralf Rangnick and Manchester United will face competition from Chelsea, who extended Thiago Silva’s contract a few weeks ago but remains under threat of a triple start, the contracts of César Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rüdiger expiring in less than six months.
