América and Deportivo Cali will play a summer tournament at Pascual Guerrero

The Pascual Guerrero stadium will host the summer ESPN Cup and will feature the participation of América and Deportivo Cali.

The preparation tournament for the 2022 season had not been held since 2020. On that occasion it was held at the El Campín stadium in Bogotá with the participation of the two Valle del Cauca teams, together with the Millonarios capital clubs in Independiente Santa Fe, leaving as the winner to the scarlet team.

For this version, foreign teams such as Mérida from Venezuela and Barcelona or Independiente del Valle from Ecuador will participate.

This ESPN Cup will be held between January 13 and 15 and will serve as a preparation for the Cali Valley teams.

It is important to note that the Colombian champion, Deportivo Cali, will debut his title as a visitor against Jaguares in Montería. For its part, America will receive Envigado in the Pascual Guerrero.
