Barquisimeto will host the next Venezuelan Umpire Camp (VUC), between February 7 and 21, 2022. The information was released by Miguel Hernández, umpire coordinator of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League and director of the successful program of training of arbitration officials in the country.
“There will be 14 continuous days of online theoretical training, through the Zoom platform (from 02/07 to 02/12), in the morning and evening hours, as well as face-to-face practical instruction (from 02/13 to 02/12). 02/21) ”, indicated Hernández.

The VUC 2022 will have instructors certified by the Venezuelan Baseball Federation, the LVBP and the program.
“There will be José Navas, who has great league status, Carlos Leal, Juan Gómez, Jorge Terán, Edward Pacheco and Jesús Santiago,” said Hernández.
“During the face-to-face week the participants will have lodging, hydration and food. In addition, they will receive a flannel and uniform cap. At the end of the course, a digital certificate will be delivered, endorsed by the Venezuelan Baseball Federation and the Venezuelan Umpire Camp, ”Hernández pointed out.
