Next Saturday, December 18, the sports hall of the Orcasitas Municipal Sports Center will host the I Jesús Rollán Recreational Day, organized by the Municipal Board of Usera in collaboration with various district sports clubs and Madrid federations.
The sports day will feature exhibitions and open classes in judo and taekwondo, fencing, rugby, volleyball and wrestling, among other disciplines. In addition, you will be able to enjoy an inflatable obstacle course, a ‘chutódromo’ and other recreational activities such as popular free access games: aiming, archery, korfball (similar to basketball), Canadian bowling, juggling workshop and the game of the frog.
Aimed at children and young people in the district, this free event also seeks that families can participate together in a recreational and sports activity in which, in addition, they will be able to learn about the work carried out by the district’s sports clubs, specifically, the minority sports that count with a proven experience in Madrid sports.
The day will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Jesús Rollán pavilion with an exhibition of judo, followed by chess at 12:00 and an exhibition of taekwondo and fencing. In the afternoon, recreational activities will continue from 4:30 p.m. with exhibitions of various sports (skating, hockey) and with participatory classes and table tennis and chess tournaments.
At 6:00 p.m. there will be a trial bike exhibition and at 7:00 p.m., the new Club HispanoUsera de Volleyball, which has just been created in the district, will play an exhibition match and some practical classes. The day will conclude with the visit of the royal postman of HMH. the Three Kings to collect the requests of the little ones and the sports dreams of all fans.
