MAZATLÁN._ An important triumph was taken by the couple formed by Delfino Torres and Emiliano Pereida, during the most recent day of the 2021 Felipe Hernández Tennis Lightning Tournament, which takes place in the port.
High-level matches were those that took place on the courts of the Parque Lineal Kilómetro Cero, where experienced tennis players from the port showed their best playing techniques in search of advancing to the next round of the Doubles ‘C-D’ category tournament.
During the most recent day of this competition, Delfino Torres and Emiliano Pereira managed to score valuable points by winning a partial 8-5 with Adán Sánchez and Arturo Salcedo.
In this meeting, Torres and Pereida excelled behind the net, exhibiting an outstanding level of play with which they were able to keep Sánchez and Salcedo’s offense at bay.
Who also took a valuable victory were Felipe Sahagún and Jorge Casas, who defeated Adán Sánchez and Arturo Salcedo by a score of 8-4.
